Massage Therapy Certification; for whom?
For those who have completed massage therapy school and need to take your national certification massage therapy exam. Or for the people who moved from one state to another and need to take your national state test that is required in order to get your license. One thing you should know about preparing to gain your massage therapy license. Due to differentiation between states, earning massage therapy certification is an essential step in advancing your professional bodywork career. Due to variation of state requirements, formal education is the key to gaining eligibility to sit for national massage therapy certification exams.
When?
I suggest you to take the NCETM, NCETMB or MBLEx ( FSMTB ) as soon as possible after graduating massage therapy school. If you do this, the opportunity to pass the exam is bigger than you wait until you feel this is the right time. The longer you wait the harder it will be to pass your certification exam.
What kind of Exam and Preparation?
If your state allows such an option I would highly recommend taking the MBLEx exam. Just prepare yourself by searching materials on kinesiology, pathology, assessment, anatomy and physiology, application, professional standards, complementary alternative medicine, and CPR.
The MBLex is very popular among others, but it is very expensive. I highly suggest that you get well preparation by searching many great online study guides, online tutor, and review materials and so on. Take a good sleep, don’t be rush, eat vitamins, take any thing or activities that makes you can pass the examination. (By Dieny Ferbianty)
